Kayleigh and Rob’s Cliffs of Moher Elopement

It was an absolute dream to photograph Kayleigh & Rob’s elopement on the Cliffs of Moher. It was a perfect backdrop to exchange their vows and proclaim their love to each other. They had planned to officially tie the knot on the cliffs, but due to Covid, they decided to marry at home in Arizona before flying to Ireland a few months later. We had a ceremonial vow exchange and hand-fasting ceremony and it was the perfect day.

There was bad weather brewing the morning of and we were preparing for a potential downpour. But as we arrived at Hag’s Head, everything cleared. Hag’s Head was a stunning backdrop with expansive views and rocky cliffs. The cliffs are so tall in this area of the Cliffs of Moher that they drop straight down to the ocean. This created the most serene and peaceful atmosphere for their ceremony.

The wind calmed and it was completely silent as Kayleigh and Rob joined hands for their handfasting ceremony overlooking the cliffs. We made the most of the calm weather and our own private spot on the cliffs for their portrait session.

Kayleigh and Rob were so delighted for this moment to have arrived. They enjoyed each other and the beautiful Irish scenery. We wished each other well as they prepared to jet off to Scotland to trace their roots for the remainder of their trip. It was an honour to be a part of this special elopement ceremony. I will never forget the love shared on this day.
