Cliffs of Moher, Clare.
Simply put, there’s nothing that beats the rugged coastline that greets you when you ascend the trail on the Cliffs of Moher. Every time that I photograph couples there I find a new viewpoint that takes my breath away. It’s the perfect location for a proposal especially if you and your partner love the outdoors! The best time to travel to the cliffs would be during the week especially early in the morning when the tourists are scare. You’ll have no trouble finding a quiet spot overlooking the ocean to propose.

Kinbane Castle, Antrim.
Set on a headland, the ruins of Kinbane Castle offer some of the best views of the North coast. With a long staircase down to the coast you then ascend the headland and are surrounded by the ocean and cliffs. If you are looking for an incredibly romantic setting for a proposal, this is it. Make sure to visit before sunrise or before sunset to make the most of the epic views amd gorgeous light.

Connemara, Galway
Mountains, bogs, lakes and wild horses, Connemara is a National Park situated on the west coast of Ireland. With it’s vast expanse mountains and rugged landscape you are guaranteed breathtaking views wherever you look. It’s simply a stunning location for a proposal and after a morning of exploring you can book in to a B&B and celebrate your new chapter over a pint of Guinness.

Glendalough, Wicklow
Wicklow, is called the ‘Garden of Ireland’ for a reason. It’s home to the beautiful Glendalough National Park which is such a gorgeous setting no matter what time of year it is. It has plenty to explore, hiking trails, lakes, a waterfall, ancient ruins, a round tower and a jetty! You’ll have your pick of gorgeous spots to propose and if you settle on the spot at the Upper Lake keep your eyes peeled for the Photo Post so you can share a video of you proposing with your family and friends around the country.

Iveagh Gardens, Dublin
Looking for a quiet haven in Dublin city for your proposal? The Iveagh Gardens is the perfect spot. Only a stone’s throw from the more popular St. Stephen’s Green and hidden behind the National Concert Hall it’s the ideal location for to get down on one knee. It’s small enough to do a walk around the perimeter and take in the fountains and waterfall before exploring the maze. Bring a picnic (and possibly an umbrella) so you can spend the morning taking in your surroundings and relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Killiney Hill, Dublin
If you fancy exploring a little outside the city without compromising on views then Killiney Hill is the perfect location. Only 30 minutes from Dublin city, Killiney Hill offers beautiful trails and epic views across Dublin Bay once you reach the top. It has plenty of little alcoves and outcroppings where you could get down on one knee. It’s even better if you can make it for sunset so you can admire the views with your now fiancée at the top.
