Hoces Del Rio Duratón National Park Elopement

Elopements

Hoces Del Rio Duratón National Park is located in Segovia, just one hour north of Madrid. It’s know as Spain’s ‘Horseshoe Bend’. It’s expansive views and abundance of quiet locations make it the perfect choice for your elopement.

Andrea and Flavius chose Hoces Del Rio Duratón National Park as their location for their elopement because of it’s unique mountain-top views and quiet location. Most tourists in Spain are looking for beautiful beaches but this National Park is a gem of a location that travelers should not overlook.

Andrea and Flavius wanted to exchange vows with each other prior to their wedding celebration this fall. We chose to come to Hoces Del Rio Duratón National Park for their elopement in early March, and we had the park to ourselves.

As soon as we stepped out of the car and turned the corner, the expanse of the valley revealed itself. The view was simply breathtaking and we enjoyed exploring the park during sunset. With the river below and unobstructed sunset views, it was the perfect backdrop to capture their love.

Why choose Hoces Del Rio Duratón for your Elopement?

It’s the perfect location for your elopement if:

  • You want unobstructed views of the sunrise/sunset

You don’t have to travel far to get to the viewpoint. It’s only a 3 minute walk from the car park! There is also a river walk along the banks of the River Duratón that offers a beautiful backdrop.
