The wonderful Lizeth got in touch about photographing her and her husband to celebrate their impending arrival with a maternity shoot I jumped at the chance. Basing themselves in Connemara for a few days sounded like the perfect opportunity to take advantage of the stunning Irish landscapes surrounding them before they continued on their whirlwind trip of Ireland. Having travelled all the way from the United States, I wanted to really make this shoot something that they were remembered forever along with showcasing the gorgeous Irish wilderness so they could always relive their trip.

We dodged torrential downpours and battled freezing temperatures and Lizeth & Auburn were so chilled out about it, they recognised that this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We had such a laugh throughout the day, it was an absolute joy to capture Lizeth & Auburn’s maternity shoot and I would jump at the chance to explore this part of the country again.
