When I was speaking with Mary & Alex about their wedding and they mentioned that they got engaged during a hike, I knew we had to incorporate some gorgeous hiking spots for their engagement photos. This spot in particular, in the Dublin mountains, is a favourite of mine, for good reason. No matter the weather, the light illuminates the little valley so nicely that no matter the weather, the photos are always beautiful.

We had the morning to explore before the rain came down and we definitely made the most of it. It was one of those shoots where we completely lost track of time and just had a laugh. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much! Not photographed is the moment I fell flat into the mud on the hike back from Lough Tay!
